VOLUNTARY BCSG MEETINGS AND FLAGLER HEALTH + PROGRAMS:
The Breast Cancer Support Group (BCSG) holds its meetings on the first Tuesday each month at 6:00 PM, in the Matanzas Room. We thank UF Health St. Johns, Flagler Hospital for allowing us to use space in the hospital to hold our meetings. Our BCSG is provided for and made up solely of voluntary breast cancer survivors. - RESTORATIVE YOGA: Rest, Heal, Restore - Recurring, every Friday weekly from 12:00 - 1:00 PM at the Flagler Wellness Center (120 Health Park Blvd.). This is offered at no cost and taught by a certified Yoga Instructor through the Christina Phipps Foundation. Please call (904) 819-4793 for further information.
- KRIPALU YOGA: Recurring every Thursday weekly from 5:00 - 6:00 PM /and/ Saturday weekly from 9:00 - 10:00 AM at the UF Health, Flagler Hospital's Wellness Center (120 Health Park Blvd.)
- LIVING WITH CANCER SUPPORT GROUP: 3rd Wednesday of each month at 11 am at Cancer Specialists of North Florida (121 Whitehall Drive). This is an informal gathering for adults with any type of cancer and their caregivers. It is open to all affected by cancer. The group will provide the opportunity to meet others in similar situations, share your stories, provide practical suggestions and offer support to each other. If you prefer to participate virtually via Zoom, please call (904) 819-4793 for further instructions.
- HEAD COVERING VOUCHER PROGRAM: This program assists those going through cancer treatment in our community to obtain a wig/head covering. The recipient will receive a $70 voucher to use toward the purchase of a wig/head covering at Ammar Beauty Supply Company. You must be a cancer patient at UF Health St. Johns.
